The Ultimate Christmas

All Things New

Our longing for the “perfect Christmas” is the echo of a deeper longing; our inner ache for the new heaven and the new earth. We believe Jesus will bring to completion in his second coming what he inaugurated in his first; the fullness of the Kingdom of God. At the same time, verse 8 reminds us that our love for family and friends and Christmas includes our responsibility to plead with them to be found in Christ before the great and terrible day of the Lord.

The Last Battle

After the defeat of Babylon and the pouring out of the bowls of God’s wrath on His enemies, we see yet another scene of worship...

The Throne

Jesus summons John into the throne room of heaven, where he sees that right now God is on his throne being worshiped and praised as he rightly deserves. During this season it is so easy to become discouraged and distracted that we need worship to rightly order our desires.
