1 Kings 4‐5, Ephesians 2, Ezekiel 35, Psalm 23‐24

1 Kings 4–5: Solomon’s wisdom and prosperity bless Israel, and preparations begin for building the temple. Ephesians 2: Paul teaches that believers are saved by grace through faith and united in Christ as one new people. Ezekiel 35: God declares judgment on Edom for its hatred and violence against Israel. Psalms 23–24: David rejoices in the Lord as shepherd and king, celebrating His guidance, presence, and glory.

1 Kings 3: Solomon asks God for wisdom to rule, receives great discernment, and demonstrates it in judging a difficult case. Ephesians 1: Paul praises God for spiritual blessings in Christ and prays for believers to know His power and calling. Ezekiel 34: God condemns Israel’s unfaithful shepherds and promises to shepherd His people through His servant David. Psalm 22: David laments deep suffering but proclaims trust in God, pointing prophetically to Christ’s crucifixion and victory.
