Father’s Day is a good day for a “big fish story.”  The story of Jonah is one of the most well-known stories in the Bible and also one of the most misunderstood.  Its more than just the story of a rebellious prophet who defies God and is swallowed by a fish.  It’s also a story of God’s surprising and persistent love for both stubborn prophets and stumbling pagans.
