GOSPEL CONVERSATION OPPORTUNITY
Jesus’ Prayer for Us
Read John 17:20-23.
Jesus prayed specifically for believers. He prayed that those who believe in Him would be able to show others the truth about Him. He asked God to help believers know that the power of God lived within them. As you read Jesus’ words, think about the fact that His prayer is for you as a Christ follower. Isn’t it amazing to know that over 2000 years ago Jesus prayed for you?
Thank God for all that Jesus did for you! When Jesus died on the cross and took the punishment for our sins, He made it possible for us to one day be together with Him in heaven. That’s a really big deal! Never stop being thankful that Jesus loved you enough to pray for you, to die for you and to prepare a. place for you in Heaven!

November Memory Verse:
“The grass withers, the flowers fade, but the word of our God remains forever.”
- Bring your Bible! Your kids need to see that everything you are reading to them or learning about comes from an actual Bible!
- Each day starts with a reading prompt. Read the selection as a family. If your kids are readers, encourage them to read along with you.
- After you’ve read the passage, read the short devotional thought that goes along with each passage.
- Prayer and application are important any time we read God’s word! After each devotional, there is a challenge to help apply what your family has read that day.
- There is a reading for six days of the week. The last reading of the week is a Gospel Conversation Prompt to help you connect the reading from the week with God’s plan for salvation.
