We live in a consumer-driven society, and we’ll be inundated with marketing messages throughout the Christmas season. Each radio, television and printed ad will offer us something that promises to satisfy us in a way that nothing else can. God created us to be fully satisfied only by a relationship with Him, and it’s the only thing that can make us whole and fill-up what’s lacking in our lives. That’s why the incarnation of Jesus, God in the flesh, is important.  Jesus makes true satisfaction and contentment possible through his finished work on the cross and by the power of his resurrection.
