Welcome back to Sermon Notes, a podcast that dives deeper into the sermons of each of our campus pastors. In this episode, we’re joined by Aaron Bryant from the Church at Avenue South. We’ll start off with a fun Christmas game, and then dive into Aaron’s sermon on Isaiah 11:1-10.

This passage is a reminder of the hope we have in Christ. Through him, we can have peace and harmony with God and with one another. We can experience the fullness of God’s kingdom on earth, and we can be filled with the knowledge of the Lord.

Aaron encourages us to look upward instead of inward in order to find the peace that God promises us, and also reminds us that peace is not the absence of conflict.
