Stephen and Kaori have devoted their lives to planting churches among the Deaf in Southeast Asia. As the global need for gospel access remains staggering, over 7,200 unreached people groups still have little to no opportunity to hear about Jesus, and the Deaf community is often among the most overlooked. Through deep relationships, intentional discipleship, and courageous commitment, Stephen and Kaori are working to change that reality.

In a region where physical, spiritual, and generational barriers are real, the hope of the gospel is making its way into Deaf communities who have never before had access. Whether through training leaders, building connections across borders, or opening doors for local believers to be sent out, Stephen and Kaori’s ministry is a beautiful example of long-term obedience in the same direction.
