“And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, ‘How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!'”
– Romans 10:15
Nathan and Lynna are preparing to move to Austria to serve long-term with Greater Europe Mission. Their heart for Europe was shaped over many summers of short-term trips, where they witnessed firsthand the spiritual hunger of a continent once central to church history. Now, they are committing to planting themselves there with the hope of cultivating long-lasting gospel fruit. As they learn the language, raise support, and prepare to go, they’re trusting that God will equip them to share the best news they’ve ever received, the Gospel, with those who have never truly heard.
Austria, while often perceived as culturally Christian, is part of a broader European context where vibrant, personal faith is increasingly rare. As Nathan and Lynna go, we pray that the seeds they sow will take root in soil that is ready, and that a new generation of believers would rise up across Europe.
Ways to Pray
- Pray for their preparation this year—logistics, fundraising, and language learning.
- Pray for God to open hearts and relationships in advance of their arrival.
- Pray that they would abide deeply in Christ as they step into a long-term calling.
- Pray that God would provide for every need and use them to scatter seeds widely and joyfully.
