There are some callings that stretch across seasons, and Debra’s has been one of steady, faithful obedience. As she nears the end of a three-year term serving in medical missions, her days are filled with both reflection and preparation—seeking clarity about what’s next while continuing to pour out love, care, and compassion to children, families, and teammates across her community in Tanzania.
Much of Debra’s ministry happens behind the scenes—meeting physical needs, showing up in moments of deep vulnerability, and encouraging those she serves with day in and day out. She’s also deeply invested in local church partnerships and the spiritual health of her team. She asks for prayer not just for discernment about her own future, but for the unity, safety, and fruitfulness of the body of Christ in the region.
As you pray today, lift up these specific requests:
- Ask for God’s guidance as Debra discerns next steps after finishing her current term in June 2025.
- Pray for her team to serve one another with humility, grace, and deep love.
- Lift up the national partners and church leaders she does life with—that they would seek the Lord fully and remain obedient to His voice.
- Pray for protection and spiritual vitality for Baptist churches in Tanzania, especially those in difficult or remote areas.
- Ask God to renew Debra’s strength and give her peace and clarity as she finishes this season well.
