Pray for More Laborers

“Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?’ Then I said, ‘Here I am! Send me.’” — Isaiah 6:8 (ESV)

As our Global Worker Gathering comes to a close, we want to turn our prayers toward those who are just beginning to ask, “Am I being called to go?”

In every generation, God is stirring hearts—ordinary people from our church (and churches like ours)—who are willing to take His name to the ends of the earth. Today, we pray for those who are discerning that call. Some may be sensing a nudge for the first time. Others may have felt this tug on their heart for years. Pray that they would respond with courage, obedience, and joy.

Ask the Lord to remove barriers of fear, doubt, and distraction. Pray that our church family would continue to be a sending church—boldly equipping, encouraging, and walking with those who say yes.

Ways to Pray:

  • Pray for clarity and confirmation for those sensing a call to missions.
  • Ask the Holy Spirit to give them peace, wisdom, and bold next steps.
  • Pray for mentors and church leaders to come alongside and guide them.
  • Lift up our missions team as they walk with future goers toward the field.
