Missions is firmly rooted in the DNA of Brentwood Baptist Church. From our neighborhoods in Middle Tennessee to nations all across the world, we are committed to having gospel conversations and making disciples of every nation. One of the most powerful ways we live this out is by caring for our global workers, faithful followers of Jesus from across our campuses and Deaf Church who have said yes to sharing the Gospel all around the world.
This summer, over 30 global worker units will gather in Middle Tennessee for a time of rest, renewal, and connection. We have the unique opportunity to surround them in prayer for 40 days—before, during, and after the retreat. As they prepare, travel, teach, parent, disciple, and serve in cross-cultural settings, they need prayer… and we get to intercede for them—what an honor!
Over the next 40 days, you’ll receive Scripture, guided prayer prompts, and practical ways to encourage these global workers, our church family. But today, we invite you to begin by covering this entire journey in prayer—ask God to open your heart to how He may be working in and through you, to be present with each global worker unit, and to bring deep rest and refreshment through this gathering.

- Ask the Lord to prepare their hearts for rest and refreshment during the gathering.
- Pray that these 40 days would strengthen our church’s heart for the nations and deepen our commitment to prayer and mission.

As part of our Missions: The Call series, global workers will preach from Isaiah 6:8 across all campuses. Come hear how surrender to the gospel transforms lives—from the mission field to your own front door. (Note: Some services will not be live-streamed for security reasons.)
📅 August 24 | Global Workers at Campuses + Lunch & Learn
Meet the workers you’re praying for! Each campus will host global workers during Sunday services, followed by a Lunch & Learn time to hear stories, ask questions, and make meaningful connections. Register Now
