Scripture: Hebrews 10:24–25
Devotion
Let us consider:
This is not a passing thought but a deliberate fixing of our attention. Take time to notice, understand, and act.
How to spur one another:
This means a holy provocation, a loving stirring toward something heavenly. We are called to encourage one another through words and actions that awaken love and faithfulness.
Toward love and good deeds:
We are to think intentionally about how to nudge one another toward agapē, sacrificial love, and actions that reflect Christ’s beauty and bring glory to God.
Not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing:
Some in the early church had stopped gathering, but gospel momentum grows when we come together. Isolation weakens faith; gathering strengthens it.
But encouraging one another:
Do not give up. Keep showing up. Strengthen one another in the hope we have in Christ.
And all the more as you see the Day approaching:
When we neglect gathering, we lose sight of Jesus’ return. Each time we meet, we prepare for that Day. To live apart from community is to miss the strength and joy found in the story of redemption.
A Personal Prayer
Holy Spirit, bring to my mind right now how I might provoke someone I love toward love and good works that bring You glory. Forgive me for my too-often causal relationship with the Bride You died to redeem. Help me to live this day in light of that Day; with urgency, faithfulness, and love.

Pray for the Nations: Redemption Church North Davis | Kaysville, Utah
Redemption Church North Davis is reaching one of America’s most unique mission fields in Kaysville, Utah, where more than 77% of the community identifies as Latter-day Saints. Led by Pastor Nathan Brock and Pastor Daniel Williams (whose wife, Elizabeth, grew up at Brentwood Baptist), this church plant is making disciples and mobilizing missionaries in a place where the gospel is often known but not yet truly embraced.
- Pray for Nathan, Daniel, and their leadership team, asking God to give them wisdom, unity, and grace as they shepherd this young church and care for their families. Pray that God would soften hearts in the LDS community and open doors for genuine gospel conversations that lead many to the true hope found in Christ.
- Ask God to strengthen new believers at Redemption North Davis, helping them grow deep in His Word and become disciple-makers who share the life-changing message of Jesus.
