Taking the Gospel to the Nations

Fall Global Workers

Hey church family. This year we’ve had the opportunity to support forty-one global worker units in twenty-seven countries around the world. This fall, we have the opportunity to commission and send out three young men to take the gospel to the nations. Here is a little video so you can get to know them better.
Brock | Athens, Greece
Hey my name is Brock. I’m being sent from Kairos. I am getting ready to launch into Athens, Greece to be a missionary. I’m super, super excited. The Lord has been doing some awesome things in calling me into full time ministry and into the mission field over this past year. So I’m excited to get out into the field and start working. I would really appreciate your prayers as I get settled in to a new country, learning a new language–all of the fun things. I appreciate your prayers. Thank you so much for your support.
Andre | Middle East

Hey, my name is Andre. I am from the Woodbine Campus and I’m headed out to the Middle East to work with a group called Free Burma Rangers. It’s a Christian group that focuses primarily working in conflict zones so I will be doing emergency medical care and then also doing kids’ programs. Kind of VBS but just in some of these areas that have experienced more conflict.

God’s been working powerfully in my life. I got to work with Free Burma Rangers when I was seventeen. That really changed my experience. I’ve worked the last two years at Vanderbilt University Medical Center on the trauma ICU. I’m really excited for this opportunity and to see what God’s going to do through providing emergency medical care and working with kids out there in conflict zones. So yeah, please be praying for me for safety and that we will be able to proclaim and present the gospel well to people that have been hurting because of war, famine, starvation, a lot of violence, and religious persecution. Thank you.

Atticus | Honduras
Hey, my name is Atticus and I am being sent as a global worker through the Church at Harpeth Heights to Honduras. I took a gap year last year to Guatemala and the Lord opened doors for me to go as an intern to Honduras. In Honduras our main focus is discipleship. We do all of that through a ranch. So we have discipleship classes that also teach people how to farm and ranch in order to take that back to their home and be able to farm on their own. And I would really appreciate your prayers and your support as I go through this next season of life.
