Through our ministry partners, there are gospel workers already on the ground in Paris, many of whom work with the many people groups who live there. Please pray that this tragedy will cause many to turn to the only source of peace—Jesus Christ.

Here’s What’s Happening

Nashville-based Baptist Global Response, the arm of the SBC dedicated to international aid, is very involved with outreach efforts related to the refugee crisis in Europe and the Middle East. Through our Hope For the World Missions Offering, we support these efforts. We are currently investigating potential Brentwood Baptist refugee ministry teams to serve in Greece in early 2016.

World Relief Nashville is a new Hope For the World Partner in 2016. They will resettle 600 men, women, and children in the Nashville area by the end of 2015. World Relief Nashville’s Executive Director, Tim Patterson, is a former IMB worker in Central America and South Asia.
