  • We Care

The Congregational Care Ministry of Brentwood Baptist Church is all about meeting you at your point of personal need. One of Brentwood Baptist’s Key Objectives is, “make our big church function, and feel smaller,” hence, we want to walk beside you during times of crises, pray with you, as well as offer resources and a variety of support groups to encourage you and ultimately assure you that you are not alone.

  • Can we pray for you?

If you have a prayer request, please let us know. We have teams praying each day, often around the clock for the requests we receive. You can...

Someone to Talk To

  • Sunday Mornings after Worship

Every Sunday morning at the conclusion of the worship services, there are church members and ministers available to talk with you about such things as coming to know Christ as your Savior, joining the church, being baptized, etc. Please feel free to go to the Parlor at the end of the service and speak to one of our ministers.

  • Minister on Call — (615) 324-6242

Each week, one of our ministers carries a pager to be used for emergencies. If you are experiencing a death in the family, automobile accident, or other types of emergencies, and need to speak with the minister on call, please call (615) 324-6242 and leave a detailed message. Please use discretion when calling the pager at night as this should only be for emergencies that cannot wait until daytime.

  • Pastoral Counseling

The Congregational Care Minister is available during the church’s normal business hours for counseling assessment and referral to Christian counselors. Graduate interns are also available to do on-going marriage and family therapy and individual psychotherapy. There is no fee for these services. For more information or to make an appointment, please call the Congregational Care office at (615) 324-6169.

  • Need help?

The Benevolence ministry of Brentwood Baptist Church provides short-term assistance to individuals and families in need. The ministry is funded through the generous offerings of the members of the church and provides assistance to church members and others on a case-by-case basis. A team of volunteers takes calls on a daily basis and determines the level of support that the church can provide.

If you would like for your needs to be considered, please call the Benevolence line at (615) 324-6179.
