Woven throughout the Bible are important birth stories and prophecies that point to our greatest hope—the coming of the Messiah, a Savior who would rescue us from our broken world. During Advent, we remember these stories and celebrate that God kept His promise and we now have Immanuel, or ""God with us.""
Today, we'll look specifically at Genesis 18:1-15 where God promised Abraham and Sarah they would have a son, Isaac. This Scripture is a great reminder that we can trust God—no matter how impossible the situation—because He always keeps His promises.
