Scott Harris has served as Brentwood Baptist’s Missions Minister since 2002. A native of San Jose, California, Scott spent part of his childhood as a missionary kid in Barbados. While a student at Golden Gate Seminary, he served as a youth pastor at a Korean church in the Bay Area. He’s also served in the United Kingdom and Hong Kong as a student minister and pastor with the International Mission Board. Scott currently serves as an IMB trustee. As Missions Minister, he works with an incredible team in local, state, national, and international initiatives as well as church multiplication and missionary sending.
Scott lives in Brentwood with wife, Beth and two children, along with their lazy French Bulldog. Beth was born and raised in Taiwan where her parents served as missionaries for 37 years. These days, Beth and Scott can be found in their free time following their kids around while they’re still young enough to think Mom and Dad are cool.
