JoEllen Taylor is an Administrative Assistant in Missions for Brentwood Baptist Church. She is a Belmont University graduate and has worked in special education and ministry after working as a homemaker full time for 13 years. JoEllen has enjoyed writing Bible study curriculum units, devotionals, and teaching plans for adults and students for LifeWay’s Explore the Bible, Bible Studies for Life, and FUGE, as well as other resources. Serving in student ministry for events and as a LIFE Group leader brings JoEllen joy. She loves the opportunity to witness God working in the lives of students.
JoEllen is married to Linc Taylor. They have three daughters, two of which are college students, with one still in high school. Family fun is a priority in the Taylor household, especially outside in creation. Since their wedding, Linc and JoEllen have visited 38 U.S. states and many National and State Parks. JoEllen enjoys conversations over coffee or an Earl Grey steamer, watching football, hiking and camping, and is inspired by reading biographies. A recent favorite is Bonhoeffer: Pastor, Martyr, Prophet, Spy by Eric Metaxes. Sewing and cooking are creative outlets JoEllen engages in as often as possible.

On Saturday, April 23, 2016, 800 people from over 80 LIFE Groups from across all Brentwood Baptist Church campuses fanned out through Middle TN.
