Focus Studies

September 6 – December 13, 2018

Men In Training (MIT) is a large, semester-based Focus Study for men of all ages and stages of life. We study God's Word together, then break into small groups to discuss the text, share life together, and grow toward Christlikeness. Come make new friends while you experience God at work in your life.

THIS SEMESTER’S STUDY: Sermon on the Mount
Men, in our pursuit of Christ, we are called to live differently than the outlook and behavior of our society. Jesus calls His people to live in a counter-cultural way that expresses the values and priorities of His Kingdom.

Living out the way of Jesus includes:

  • Unexpected Blessings
  • God’s Way to Make a Difference in the World
  • Dealing with Private Sins
  • How Not to be Religious
  • Relationships that Encourage
  • Detecting the Lies of the World
  • And More

Join us as we study the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5-7) and encourage one another to live out the ways of Jesus together!

We begin at 6:45 AM with coffee and doughnuts for main assembly then breaks into small table groups. John Stott's book, A Deeper Look at the Sermon on the Mount: Living Out the Way of Jesus, will be available to purchase for a minimal donation, but not required. Led by Roger Severino. Registration not required. Open to all men.
