Men In Training
Thursdays at 6:45 AM
Room: Hudson Hall
September 7 – December 7, 2017
Men In Training is a large, semester-based Focus Study for men of all ages and stages of life. We study God's Word together, then break into small groups in order to discuss the text, share life together, and grow toward Christlikeness. Come make new friends while you experience God at work in your life.
This semester we’re studying 1 Thessalonians. After establishing a young church in Thessalonica (see Acts 17:1-9), Paul writes a letter to check in on this new community of believers whom he cares for and loves. Paul writes to celebrate God’s work among them and how it has spread to others to encourage his readers who were being persecuted, to exhort them to live a holy life, and to comfort them about the fate of deceased and living believers at Christ’s return. Join us as we study this important book and see how these themes apply to our lives today!
We begin at 6:45 AM with coffee and doughnuts for main assembly then breaks into small table groups. A minimal donation is requested for materials, but not required. Led by Roger Severino. Registration not required. Open to all men.
