(must have at least 4 students for class to begin)

Tuition is $70 for the entire semester.
Payment is due in full upon registration or by the first class.
Monthly payment option: Add $20 fee for 2 monthly payments.

ART CLASSES

Classes begin June 13 & go through July 18 (July 4th's evening class may be moved to another day)

Wednesdays from 11am – 12pm : Sketching and Drawing

Wednesdays from 5:15-6:00pm: Kid's Art

Instructor: Jonathan Meeks        

Class descriptions:

Sketching and Drawing--This class is designed for anyone, ages 9 and up, who is interested in getting started with the fundamentals of rendering what you see onto paper using basic drawing materials: pencil, charcoal, eraser, and paper. We will practice looking at things like an artist, sketching quickly and accurately, and using techniques that maximize the visual impact of a final drawing. Although no prior experience is necessary, there will be something for all skill levels. Contact Jonathan Meeks for the supply list.

Kid's Art--This class is designed for kids, age 7 to 11. The instruction and projects are designed to teach the fundamentals of art, but we work with these concepts in a way that's designed to be fun and engaging for a younger student. We will use markers, pastels, and tempera paints in addition to pencils and pens. All the learning is hands-on, and kids will come home each week with a finished art project and a little more knowledge. Contact Jonathan Meeks for the supply list.
