  • What is Hope for the World?

Brentwood Baptist Church is about one thing: connecting people to the life-changing hope that is found in Jesus. So, it makes sense that we invest our efforts and our resources into making Him known throughout the world. The annual Hope for the World Missions Offering is one of the ways this happens.

Through this offering we are able to provide financial support to our ministry partners in Middle Tennessee, the U.S., and around the world. These partners are involved in caring for needs, building relationships, and sharing the gospel in their communities every day.

We believe that every person plays a role in these efforts. That’s what makes Hope for the World so special. There is a way for every person in the church to be involved.

  • How can you support Hope for the World?

Pray. Our ministry partners rely on the prayer support of people like you. Not sure how to begin to pray? Choose a ministry partner from the list below and pray diligently for them every day. Or, pray for a different partner each day. Learn about their ministry and pray specifically for God to use them to reach people with the hope of the gospel. Pray for missionaries and their families by name.

Give. Through your gifts to the Hope for the World Missions Offering, you can impact lives with the gospel on the other side of the world—from right here in Middle Tennessee. Pray about what God is leading you to give to Hope for the World in 2016.

Go. Is God is calling you to go on a Mission Journey and work directly with one of our ministry partners? Is there a local ministry partner you and your family can serve with on a consistent basis? There are opportunities for you right here in Middle Tennessee and around the world. From leading Vacation Bible School or caring for patients on a medical mission journey to hosting a block party or collecting food for families in need, there’s something for everybody.
