Just Ask Me

Aaron Bryant · Isaiah 7:1-15

The Christmas season is over, but that doesn’t mean we pack away Isaiah’s prophecy for another twelve months. Isaiah prophesied, “The Lord Himself will give you a sign: the virgin will conceive and bear a son.” The name of that son was Immanuel, which means “God with us.”

We often read only this promise. This week, Aaron Bryant will take a look at the verses surrounding this promise. These verses set the stage for God to give us every reason for hope in 2011 and beyond. But it all starts with Him standing in front of us saying, “Just ask me—for a sign to show you that I love you, that you can trust Me, and that I’m for you.”

That sign is Jesus—”God with us” in 2011.
