To Be Called Christians | A Vision Series

Our Mission

Engaging the whole person with the whole gospel of Jesus Christ anywhere, anytime, with anybody

Our mission begins with you. Every day you are surrounded by people who need Jesus—in the house across the street from yours, in the aisle with you at the grocery store, in the cubicle next to you at work. The world is filled with people who need Jesus, and God has called and equipped you to go and tell them about Him.

Our Calling

This month we’re studying how God designed the church as a whole, and how He’s calling all of us at Brentwood Baptist Church to engage the whole person with the whole gospel of Jesus Christ anywhere, anytime, with anybody.

The series began on Sunday, January 7, as we examined how the gospel escaped Jerusalem and spread to Antioch. The gospel continues to spread throughout the world and into Middle Tennessee through the Middle Tennessee Initiative.

Our Vision

On January 14, Senior Pastor Mike Glenn will speak via simulcast to all six campuses to unpack our new vision statement. He will share what our church expects to achieve in the next five years, and what role each of us can play in attaining these ambitious and necessary goals.

On January 21, we will learn how the teaching of Paul and Barnabas so deeply affected the Antioch church that they were called “little Christs.” Like Paul and Barnabas, the call for us is to go as deep into Christ as we can so that whoever finds us, finds Christ.

The series will conclude on January 28 as we explore Acts 13:1-4 where the Holy Spirit called Paul and Barnabas to do kingdom work, and they were faithful to obey.

Will You Join Us?

Looking ahead into 2018 and beyond, we are ready to begin the work God is calling us to. You have an important role to play in His plan to deliver the hope of the gospel to the world that so desperately needs it by engaging people around you with the gospel at anytime.

Will you join us in this mission?
